Social Networks of Support

JDRF Austin provides meaningful support and networking opportunities for anyone affected by type 1 diabetes and their families. We have a variety of networks to fit your needs.

JDRF Austin Chapter Yahoo Group

Mentor Network

Mentors are trained volunteers who have “been there” and are available to provide one-on-one support to families and individuals who are newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Mentors give comfort, answer non-medical questions, provide resources, share stories, and offer hope. To learn more about connecting with a mentor, click here.
